2024 Highlights
Our corporate and individual investor services platform continued to strategically and organically grow while not losing focus on the integrity of our forward-looking service model. Our service model is structured to fulfill our vision of being the most indispensable investment advisory and consulting firm in the country. We welcomed 12 new corporate and not-for-profit retirement plan sponsor clients representing various sectors of the economy: 6 in manufacturing, 3 in healthcare, 2 in hospitality and 1 in construction. Approximately half were domiciled in Illinois and others are spread out across 5 other states and 3 different time zones. We also welcomed 15 new wealth management households in 2024, stemming from new relationships as well as from existing worksite relationships nurtured over time.
Companies experiencing dynamic organizational changes via mergers or acquisitions continue to be a core focus of our business development efforts. Our pre-acquisition retirement plan due diligence service is poised to incorporate a healthcare risk assessment through a fiduciary governance lens. Private equity firms have indicated their deal flow and activity will intensify in 2025. We stand ready to support acquisitive organizations with their due diligence efforts, ongoing fiduciary investment oversight and helping their portfolio companies navigate legislative and regulatory complexities of retirement and tax policies.

We have been recognized for the 6th consecutive year as one of NAPA’s Top DC Advisor Teams across the country. RETIREMENT PLAN ADVISER OF THE YEAR
We are very proud to report we were selected as the 2024 PLANADVISER Retirement Plan Adviser of the Year award in the Mentorship category. When we started Finspire in December 2018, we wanted to build a culture that not only supports our employees, clients, and community, but also impacts the industry. Mentorship is not only the right thing to do, but also essential for the long term prosperity of our firm and good of our industry.
New Hire
Finspire welcomed Nate Freeman in May 2024, as our Senior Vice President of Business Development. Nate’s background with various money management firms, investment advisory teams, and a corporate healthcare consultancy meshes well with our focus on broadening our multidisciplinary platform to further support existing clients and attract new relationships.
New Relationships
We are committed to serving our clients by being their trusted advisor and an indispensable resource. We have formed new strategic partnerships with a sell-side investment banking group, a data analytics firm focusing on uncovering hidden fees in self-insured healthcare plans, and a comprehensive private investing platform serving qualified purchasers and institutional investors.
